Who We Are
NextGen RDN was created to help future dietitians study with more intention, build confidence, and walk into the exam feeling prepared — not overwhelmed.
NextGen RDN was founded by a dual-credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Speech-Language Pathologist with a unique perspective on how people learn, retain information, and build new skills.
After working as an RDN and later transitioning into speech-language pathology, I became especially interested in the science of learning, cognition, and neuroplasticity — and how those principles can be applied to the way students prepare for a high-stakes exam.
I remember what it felt like to study for the RD exam: spending hours reviewing information, questioning whether I was focusing on the right material, and wondering how prepared I really was.
That experience inspired a different approach.
NextGen RDN combines dietetics expertise with cognitive learning strategies to help students study smarter, strengthen recall, identify knowledge gaps, and build confidence over time.
Our exam-prep resources are designed around purposeful repetition, active retrieval, targeted practice, and diagnostic feedback — so studying becomes more focused and less about simply consuming more information.
And because passing the exam is only the beginning, NextGen RDN also aims to support new dietitians as they transition from studying concepts to applying them in real-world practice.
Our goal isn’t just to help you pass.
It’s to help you feel prepared, capable, and confident in what you know — and in your ability to keep learning.
